Hide dashboard figures
Keep revenue off the screen until someone asks to see it.
The dashboard leads with the numbers that matter: stock value, what you have billed, what you have collected and what is outstanding. On a screen a customer can see over the counter, that is more than you meant to share.

Go to Admin → Settings and open the Dashboard tab.

Turn on Hide the figures until asked for.
The four headline cards now open covered. Select the eye on a card to reveal that figure when you need it.
This is a cover, not a lock
Anyone who can open the dashboard can uncover the figures — there is no second password. It stops a number being read over your shoulder; it does not keep information from someone who should not have it. For that, use roles.
When it is worth using
- A billing screen at a counter that customers stand in front of.
- A shared machine several staff sign into.
- A laptop you open in front of suppliers or visitors.
